What to do if it happens to you
If your ID becomes stolen or tampered with you will need to take action. The following ID Theft Affidavit Packet is a downloadable document that walks you through the steps to take and the affidavit forms you need to fill out.
Also you may want to refer to our fraud referral resources that will assist in a case of identity theft. The list has several phone numbers and contact information of the official agencies that you may need to contact. Also work with your financial institution on their steps and procedures.
